Why another blog?
If you’re reading this, congratulations — you’ve found the one place on the internet that proudly names itself after Unix’s garbage disposal.
Every engineer I know has a graveyard of abandoned blogs. Ghost, Hugo, Jekyll, WordPress, Medium, Substack, hand-rolled React monstrosities. I’ve tried most of them. They all end the same way: three posts, six months of silence, a domain renewal you forgot to cancel.
What’s different this time?
Nothing, probably. But I’m older now, and I’ve accepted that the act of writing is the point — not the streak, not the audience, not the SEO.
What to expect
- AI & Data Engineering — the stuff I do for a living
- Startups — the ones that burned and the lessons they left
- Engineering culture — hiring, teams, the human side of tech
- Random deep-dives — whatever catches my attention
The stack
This site is built with Astro, deployed on Cloudflare Pages, and styled to look like a terminal because I have a monospace font addiction.
No JavaScript frameworks were harmed in the making of this blog. Just markdown, static HTML, and vibes.
